coil bind. you will not hit a valve with a piston hard enough to bend a pushrod/break a rocker and not bend the valve. they either put the wrong valvesprings on or the cam has more lift than the springs can handle.

FYI i have some pac 1518's sitting next to me and the ones in your pictures are not them. same shape but the pac spring has one less coil and no paint
id put coil bind as suspect. if a valve hit a piston you would know it cuz the truck would run like **** from a bent valve

i definitely agree i have never seen a valve smack a piston and not bend!!!!

heres what the comp 918s (can handle .625 lift) look like compared to the stockers. those dont look like they can handle .650 lift they look like the stock ones

x2 or 3 on coil bind. Those springs are not high lift capable.
