Underdrive pulley
#3
Powerbond, IMO. I say it's kinda iffy on whether or not to get the alt pulley. I ran the stock pulley for a day or so & it put out around 14.1 or 14.2V. I did the alternator overdrive pulley a few days later & now it stays at 14.4 or 14.5.
Here's the trick for the alt pulley, if you choose to install it. Hold it with one hand & use an impact on the nut. Comes off like a dream. Reverse that for installation.

Do you guys feel the pulley is a worthwhile upgrade? Im not doing a max performance build. It's a 6.0 with 243 heads, an EPS 218/226 114LSA cam, long tubes and a tune. Im mostly concerned with low and mid range power.

I bought it because I had heard of stories where it made your revs come up quicker. I can't really say if it did or not. The only thing I noticed is it shifts about 100 or 200rpms higher than before. I kinda wished I had spent the money somewhere else. Oh well, it's another mod under my belt & will help once I get that cam in.
I say if money's not an issue, it's only $200 from sdpc, go ahead, it's not gonna hurt anything & you'll already have it for when you need it once you get heavily modded.
