Default ummm...where does this go? :confused:

well after the head swap i was left over with this unconnected, 2 pronged female connector. when i fired it up i didnt throw any codes SO, is it unused?

Map Sensor at the top of the intake on the rear?

EDIT: Knock sensor harness.

i believe that would be the knock sensor harness connector, should have thrown a code or it will.

just checked my truck couldnt get to much info (2 dam cold) its a 2 wire plug(knock sen.) that runs behind the block. check their for n e unpluged ones? and it goes cliped on the plate that sits on top of the manifold close to the fire wall (by where u bolt down the engine cover)

Knock sensor plug and you need to go back to Elementary school and leanr basic anatomy, thats a MALE plug

shut up. ...well i looked around and couldnt see anything. someone take a picture of it please please dont tell me i have to take off the intake. PLUS who needs a knock sensor...

Reach around the back of the intake under it above the valley cover and feel for the plug, you may end up having to take the intake off ot get it.

It may be a male connector, but it has female terminals

what exactly are the consequences of having it disconnected? i already have my knock sensor sensitivity turned essentially off

They won't report any knock activity to the PCM so you will have no saftey blanket, which it sounds like you don't already.
