Why did they stop the run at 5250 RPM? How does the truck feel, does it seem to run better, did you get a retune after the cam?

because the run got to long... 3rd gear pull from 80mph to 100+ 112mph tires:-P he was also worried about the driveshaft more than anything..
truck feels VERY QUICK now.. 1st gear after 3500K it really starts moving all the way too 6300 limit. did get a tune after the cam.. pcmforless.com. once 41O's are IN it'll be easier im sure... btw the dyno WAS loaded

think i could need larger injectors? fuel problem? i dont even have a cai but i dont think that would hurt me to bad.

do a second gear pull..mustang dynos are not for high numbers anyways..you want high numbers go to a dyno jet..i used to be the operater on a mustang dyno..and i seen alot of discouraged people by their numbers

Your only real mod is a small cam and tune, so thats not that horrible especially for a mustang dyno at only 5200rpm. Shorty headers aren't worth anything IMO.

i think you would be much more satisfied if it had been run up to 6,000+rpm, given it didnt throw a driveshaft or the like

be worried more about the driveshaft than the tires. my A/t's on my blazer are rated for 85mph and I've had them into the hundreds. You just can't stay at those speeds a long time.
