you are correct. go get a new crank bolt just like the one you are taking out. reason being, is the bolt stretches. so you don't want to use a potentially weakend bolt. or at least thats how it was explained to me a few years ago. hard to remember

I think there's better things for you to spend your money on than an UD pulley

lol, actually not really, i'm trying to go all n/a bolt-ons only and pull at least a 9.4 in the 8th. Efans and Pulleys are some of the last things i have to do, efans are on the way, and waiting to see if i can't find a good deal on some pulleys to keep from buying new. Know of any other bolt on's i'm missing, other than P&P TB??

When I installed the e-fan I so that I had more space decided to change the pulley
not to bad if you have a pnumatic gun use it. throttle responce was better felt lighter less resistance, reved quiker. No major H.P. But if it helps to not stress the engine( 151,000 miles) it was worth it to me would do it again

I have efans, and am running both the crank and larger alt pulley. At idle with the fans, headlights and stereo on, I do get some dimming, but not bad at all. I will be upgrading to a 145A this spring though.
