Default Twin Turbo 4.8 question.

I know that I'm going to catch #$@# for asking but what size of Turbocharger would ya'll recommend for a twin turbo 4.8. It already has DT Tri-Y;s so they'll both be remote mounted, likely right at the end of my headers. I'm only looking to get 6-10lbs of boost for now. Any help would be appriciated.

Yes you will get shxxt for your question. No reason for twins to run 6-10 lbs. Get a single front mount instead.

I would just get two t3/t4 hybrid turbos off of ebay and then upgrade and learn from there..they are small and will fit up inside nice..the smaller the turbos the faster the spool, I would even try twin t28's on a 4.8 mounting them remote after the lt's your losing alot of heat there..I hope this helps but I am NO expert....

Why not install supercharger and keep your duals? You will end up spending more than what your dual exhuast is worth to save it and do twins.

youre headers arent going to help you for a remote mount turbo setup. you would be better off selling those headers and exhaust and running your stock manifolds.

for the effort into doing twins might as well make them front mounts and look presentable, a single will get job done but twins will look more AW.

Wow, thanks for the feed back guys. I have considered a supercharger in the past but it just doesn't do it for me.

slap a procharger on there to keep your duals... the remote mount will be a pain.. gonna have all sorts of piping.. oil pump nonsense...

do it right or dont do it..... procharger probably the easiest route

Well I don't want to get rid of my headers so I guess supercharger it is. Thanks for the information gentlemen.
