Tuning Question?
#1
Ok, Ive got my tuning pretty much dialed Ill no for sure next week. My fuel looks great and I have no KR at about 17 deg of timing at WOT( timing is actually set at 19 but I only see 17, im told because of IAT pulled timing). My Iats never get over 125. The IAT's are around 100 to 110 after a WOT run but Ive seen as high as 125.
Should I be setting my timing at what is actually being seen under driving conditions? I read people setting there timing at say 18*. Is this the setting on the tune or what they are seeing under load conditions.
My PCM seems to start pulling timing when IAT's are at 90*.
Any thoughts.

I was going to say, I think you should be around 28* vs 17-19*... but then I saw those three letters in your sig.
Currently, if you set your 19* back to 17* - without changing (turning off) the IAT correction table - it'll still pull you back to 15* now.
I like to use the HO timing table and IAT correction table just like they were designed... I let the HO timing table set to the most spark I can run on perfect to ideal conditoins on a nice cool night or whatever - but when it gets hot, I let the IAT table take over and pull timing so that I don't knock.
