Default TSP F-Body 1 7/8 LT's on a 2006 ISS

I know this has to have been covered before, but I can't find it on here. I bought a pair of TSP F-Body 1 7/8 LT's for my truck because I have heard a lot of guys on the forum run them. My question is what do y'all do about the passenger side fitment problem? I have the drivers side on and it bolts up perfectly. The passenger side is where the problem is. The header hits the frame down by the collector and the tranny lines are getting smashed against the starter. I plan on running a tru-cool 40K stand alone trans cooler with braided lines and AN fittings. As for the frame clearance issue, what do y'all do?

How bad does it hit the frame? Some pics maybe?

I would but I cant bolt it up because of a broke stainless steel header bolt when I tried to bolt them up the first time. I have to weld the nut I put on what was left of the bolt that broke, plus when I bolted it up the header was really off from the bolt holes.

Default bolt holes

when we put the headers on my truck we had to elongate all the holes
on one side, they were all off

No mine all line up but the trans lines are in the way along with the collector hitting the frame.

Is this a common issue with this style header on the trucks? Or is just yours that is doing it? How do your motor mounts look? Could that be an issue? Has your truck every been wrecked?

I'm curious about this because I'm about to install the exact same header on my NBS Tahoe. Would be nice to know if this is common or isolated.

My truck's motor mounts are good and it has never been wrecked. I do know that our trucks conme factory with the engine set to the passenger side some so that could be the issue but then again that may be the fact on all 99-07 trucks.

Well the 1500 and 2500 frames are different. 02_Orange_D1SC did you have to do the drivers and passenger side or just the passenger side?
