Ok so I'm a little wrong here. I talk to Zippy on the phone earlier this evening. He told me that the 2005-2007 2WD SS models have the same frame as the 4WD Z71 trucks which is a different frame. He told me that notching the frame and rerouting the trans lines was the only way to use these headers on our trucks.
I am already doing braided lines and a stand alone Tru-Cool 40K on my truck anyway, so that's no big deal.
I also notched my frame tonight in my driveway with a sawzall, grinder and a ball peen hammer. All I have to do is remount the header to see if I need to tweak the notch.

Can you take some pics and post them up, or text them to me and I'll post them up here?

My kooks f-bodys clear the frame by about a 1/8" but had to adjust the trans lines also. last time I was under it I noticed that it must hit the frame occasionally under acc. or bumps because there is a mark on the frame.

JDC is your truck a torsion bar front end or a coil spring set up? Also are you running the
1 3/4 or 1 7/8 F-Body Headers?

Why not just run 1 7/8th headers made for our trucks?

You didn't need to call Zippy for that one. I just looked up your post about this on SilveradoSS.com from back in May before you ever bought them. I warned you that they might not fit very good on the torsion bar 2wd trucks because everyone I saw using them was using them on the normal 2wd chassis and that you would be the guinea pig for trying to put them on that chassis.

I didn't want the Pacesetter's and the Stainless Works are like $1000. The ARH and Kooks are mid length headers. I figured I'd give the TSP headers a shot, but they don't make the 1 7/8 headers for our trucks yet.

LPCWS6 I'm sorry I didn't follow your directions, but I didn't know you were in charge of me and my thought of trying something new. It's a learning curve and it's called Hot Rodding. We go against the grain for a reason. If you wanted to be a Smartass I told you so, go somewhere else. I do not need that kind of attitude nor did I ask for it. I was only trying to find our what people know on this forum and what Zippy informed me of. That man knows more about these vehicles then just about anyone on this or any other forum.

Anyone can do whatever they want with their trucks, it makes no difference to me. What I found interesting was that you made it sound like you just figured out yesterday that your chassis was not like a normal 2wd when you knew it was different 3 months ago. I've asked about those headers on torsion bar trucks multiple times on multiple forums while I was still considering doing headers on my truck and never got a single useful answer on them once. Most people probably don't even realize they ever made 2wd half ton trucks on that chassis.
