Trick Flow Top-End Engine Kit for 5.3
Trick Flow® 455 HP GenX® Top-End Engine Kits for GM LS Truck
TFS-K305-455-425
im planning on gettin this setup in august an would luv yalls opinion on it an also what possible et times i could expect with a 700r4 n 3.73 gears. heres a lil info on the kit an also a link at bottom
GenX® 205, CNC Ported, Aluminum, Assembled, 58cc CNC Chamber,
Track Max hydraulic roller camshaft 216 int./220 exh.(TFS-30602001),
chromemoly pushrods (TFS-21407500), Harland Sharp roller rocker arms
it said it makes 456hp on stock GM LS truck intake manifold and 78mm throttle body. heres the link

The kit on summitracing is 2900. So I figure $3200 shipped tax n all. An i would say 450 crank hp. so prob 400 at the wheel. I want cuz its takes the guess work out instead up mix n matchin.

Yeah its kinda pricy. Correct it is rated at Crank HP for the kit.
You could just skip the top end kit and get a custom turbo kit for $2500 or so non intercooled from like Kbracing. You will need a little more funds though for the supporting mods.
Some guys will say just put that money towards a 6.0 and swap engines.
It's not unheard of to get a 5.3 into the low 12's with a good combo.
Idk what you are after but good luck with everything.
