I currently have Tri-y's on my truck and I love them. Honestly I don't feel any loss at higher rpms. I know someone did a test between the two and the margin only went in favor of the longtubes at 6800+ rpms, and even then it wasn't by much.

I'll be running some Doug Thorley Tri-Y's here soon. I'm stoked.

ive got the tri-ys and i love them, after i swapped em in i really noticed a difference in the amount of gas pedal it took to take off or go up hill. Now my ls6 is in and low end seems like its going to be beastly, barely tap the pedal and i chirps the tires lol.
IMO, i think the 2 are so close that its probabley just personal preference.

I have the tri-ys and the defiantly pull hard from down low up to higher rpms. The craftsmanship on them is very good and Ive never heard of anyone having an exhaust leak with them. But if I had to do it all over again I would have saved the money that I spent on these pricey headers and either bought new pacesetters, a used set of a more expensive brand of headers, or saved the money to put towards a used turbo setup.

$700 is just a lot to spend on these headers and they don't really pull that much on my brothers truck with pacesetters.

If you look around, you can catch some deals. I got mine brand new, ceramic coated, the whole works for $400 shipped.

Same here, except I paid around $450 shipped.

Paying $700 for them is a rip off, at least I expect you got the ceramic coated.

Look around
