Today I was driving around in 2nd (A4) going 25mph in my neighborhood. I punched the gas and right as it was down shifting into 1st, I let off the gas, the trans. felt like it slipped into neutral. I gave it some gas and it was in neutral. The thing is, the shifter was still in 2nd. I shifted it into drive and the same thing, neutral. I then shifted it into neutral and back into drive and everything was fine. Tried to do it again, but it never happened again. Should I be worried with what happened or was it some kind of torque management thing?

prolly just some kinda computer thing. if it came back to normal i wouldn't worry about it unless it starts happening more often.
my questions are:
1)why didn't you just leave it on D?
2)why are you punching the gas in a 25 MPH zone in a neighboorhood?

1. I was just listening to the exhaust tone. It is louder in 2nd going 25 than in drive.
2. No See, No Tell, No Trouble. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
