Tranny Question
#1
I know that these transmissions cant hold alot of power without going in limp mode
, but I'm starting to see that everyone's getting a ''built tranny''. Please let me know how you had it built, or what excatally makes yours built. I'm reading in posts where people that are getting the TQM deleted are going to be ok with just bolt on's in the tranny?
I always thought that in order to be ok with no TQM you accually need new internals. Please tell me i'm wrong I plan on building another 5.3 for my truck then having my comp programmed for the new cam and so on. So I would like to know= If I delete TQM all I need is a stall, bigger cooler , servo, and a shift kit?
Or would I have to send my tranny off to be built?
Thanks for any help, I'm just trying to make sense of what I want to do .
