Styleandspeed, do you think the TB convertor was worth it? Did it make much of a difference.

Been thinking about getting one for my LS1 swap.

Do the LSx converters work on genI small block transmissions? I thought they were the same, but I am not 100% sure. I have a 3000 Midwest in my S10, and it feels way too loose, so this would be a cheap experiment to see how I like it.

Different input shaft for the lsx converters. Im running a 94 4.3 converter (i belive that is the year) in mine which is suppose to be the same as the TB converter except for us OBS guys. With that converter it will brake stall to around 2600 or so and flashes close to 3000. But in all honesty if i where to do it over again i would probably go with a TCI over this converter

What's the difference in the part numbers? Will both work on all the same vehicles? I think I remember someting about mounting problems. Something about a hole is offset or something.

Didn't seem to make that much of a difference from a roll to me. Still seems about the same after first gear.

I definately think that it was worth it. It was only $200 and I think that I will probably gain a full .3 sec at the track. It helps quite a bit off the line. I don't really have any complaints about it. I did also check my mileage again, and it went down in about .5 mpg for me, so not too bad.
