what gap should I run? Truck was pinging the other day. Hoping to improve ping resistance a little.

No nitrous. Naturally Aspirated. Motor was pinging the other day so I wanna run the TR6 to try to help. New gas would probably fix it but I'd rather overdo it.

i run my motors .055-.060 with tr55's n/a. newer motors ask for .040 or some crap like that though.

Yep, when I was N/A, nothing but TR55's at .055" and never had a problem. Shouldn't need TR6's, those are a step colder for nitrous and FI engines.

There was a service bullettin put out for older pre 2004 trucks about a change in plugs and therefore they need a .040 gap. Im not sure if it applys for NGKs?

Last year In between blower setups I ran NA for about 6 months and when I did I ran TR55's gapped at .040 and all was well.

basically going to a colder plug for ping issues is a bandaid. i would be looking into bad gas, low fuel pressure, clogged filter, possible bad pressure regulator and tuning.
