I'm currently running TR55's gapped at .055 with MSD wires which fit nicely with my StainlessWorks Long Tubes. I may be able to fit stockers on their also, just haven't tried.

I run TR-6 plugs and MSD wires and am quite pleased with them, but due to fitment issues with the Dynatech headers I had custom wires made with 90deg boots and they fit too snug to the heads. So while I dont recommend that everyone run out and buy a set, I think the next set I try will be the MTI Racing wires, as they have 115deg angled boots on the plug end and should help with the header clearance while not being too tight to the heads. Of course, the better solution would be a set of headers that didn't have the stupid humped up tube!

It's not like it was on the older motors where a plug wire may be 3ft long or so and had a horrendous ohm load or voltage drop. It's hard to have much of either with an 8in long wire.

Agreed, the only real purpose to change them would be if you just needed a new set of wires or like in my case for fitment purposes, but other than that I can't think of another good reason to ditch the stock wires (maybe the purdy thing).
