Default Towing with e-fans?

Going to do the e-fan mod on my 2002, wondering how well it would keep my motor cool while towing. I tow a boat quite a bit on 50mile or less one way trips, and the boat is a 21footer and is not exactly light. Will electric fans work for this and if so which brand flow the most cfm and is a quality peice?
Probably been asked here but having dial up sucks for doing searches and such.
Thanks guys.

Flex-a-Lite is the choice of almost ALL of the members here that tow....they had VSC issues in the past but that problem seems to have worked itself out, they are designed to kepe the truck cool while towing so YES, they will work fine

Been towing my 20ft. Bayliner with them for about a year. They do fine for me. I also tow about the same distance thru the Texas hill country.

Did you guys tow before the Electric fans?? Just wondering if you saw a temp difference under heavy load. How about a power difference?? I read a disclamer on an e-fans website and it said it was not intended for towing. This was a big dual fan kit for a 02 2500 HD..

I know when I tow my boat I see higher tems with the stock fan, nothing really extreme though. The area I live in is very hilly a with 55mph on up speeds on two lane roads so its a real test for the truck here and there. Since I don't have the e-fans yet I'll see next year what the difference is like. Its pretty damm cold here in Wisconsin right now, so boating is pretty much done except for a few fishermen. Now I have to decide which brand is the best as far as bang for the buck and quality goes.

I did 5,000lbs this summer, sat in stop and go traffic for 45 minutes in 89*F weather. Everything was just fine. My coolant temps never budged at all. Tranny temps were warm, but still well under 200*F.

Once your up and moving, I don't think the fans are needed.

I'm running these on both my 8.1 trucks. The keep the engine temp down but the tranny seems to get a little warmer than it did when using the factory fan.
