Re: Tow/Haul Mode
From what I see in LS1edit Tow/Haul(Perfomance mode in LS1edit) lowers the 1-2 WOT shift point about 400 rpm which is the exact opposite of what you would want to do.

Re: Tow/Haul Mode
Hey Greg
I was just looking at my trucks edit file. Evidently the HPP3 raises the tow/haul shift settings along with the normal shifts(relative to what they start at). My 1-2 is set at 6068 and my t/h mode 1-2 is set at 5668. Both of those are exactly 468 rpm higher than what a stock file shows.
Interesting stuff when you can look into the computer. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Tow/Haul Mode
This is directly from the LS1edit manual. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
"In Trucks, the second mode is often Labeled Tow/Haul. Tow/Haul uses the performance mode tables."
Are you thinking of turning tow/haul into a real performance mode? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Tow/Haul Mode
Heck yeah. I dont use the tow / haul button for anything, yet...
It would be great to have a second set of shift points and converter lock up parameters. Just think - at a dyno, you could make one run with the converter normal, then hit the TH button and have it locked for the next one. Or have one setting for east normal driving and another for real aggressive stuff.
I like it.

Re: Tow/Haul Mode
thought about that too, does it work? need to try that. just leave your normal tables alone for daily driving and modify the t/h mode to kick ***. mustang killing at the touch of a button! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
