Default Total Cost of , Street Tune,CAI, LT, High Flow Cats, and Labor

09 Silverado 5.3L. Quote on complete job (parts and labor) is $3,100.
Is this in the ballpark of what you guys have experienced?

Shop here in Race City USA, NC seems reputable and takes on much bigger projects on a daily basis...I was just a little taken back by the amount $ on the quote...HP ain't cheap, I get it.

I mentioned bargain brand Pacesetter and the feedback was that after they finish fooling with fitting the headers and the Y pipe to High Flow Cats and possibly cutting and welding pipes to get it all to work together that the labor would come close to what I would've paid for the better quality Stainless Works set up in the beginning. Have to run CATS btw...

-Air Raid CAI
-Stainless Works LT Headers and Y Pipe
-High Flow Cats
-Street Tune
-did not quote a cat back...i can do that in my driveway....but would expect another $600 or more with this....so i'd be close to $4K wrapped up in a nose to tail exhaust project

Thanks in advance

Prices I would expect.
Cai $300ish this would be very easy to do yourself.
LTs with ypipe and cats from stainless works will be $1500ish plus labor. About 3-4hrs of labor minimum.
Street tune should cost around $400-600
So really your paying a huge premium for the longtubes with cats. Not to mention they have 2 1/2" collectors which is lame. I would push for different longtubes. Why I ask do you require cats? Does your county do a sniffer test on newer emmisions vehicles? Or just visual?

NC is just a visual but state troopers love to drop tickets for not having cats at the cost of 1000 each.

Confirmed....just visual for NC. I plan on running an inconspicuous single exhaust out the back and side just like the stock pipe...not sure if that would reduce the chances of getting ticketed?

The key there is always kill the motor when getting pulled over and run a stock ish looking exhaust. Also have you considered dummy cats after the ypipe?

That's the plan. Fake cats and factory exit pipe. I love the look of aftermarket tips on duals but if I go the non-cat route questions may come.

fake cats are a good start but dont **** off a statey. they can and will be your worst enemy in NC. got hit for 65 in a 55 in little washington on 17 and they looked under my jetta and popped me for no cat and a cracked windshield. that went from a 130 dollar speeding ticket to 1300 in fines real quick.

Where in nc? There are two major shops in the Raleigh area and also in mooresville that will give you a way better deal. Heck buy the parts and bring it over. A tune in nc is usually $350 ish but that's dyno time and all.

Turbo4.8 I'm in Mooresville. Would you mind telling me which shop you're referring to? Thanks
