I have always liked "big" cam, gears, stall in a 5.3L with a lot of nitrous. Those trucks are nasty!

Call or message a sponsor on the stall and get several opinions before pulling the trigger. I would start with the stall since you have 3.73's, 4.30s would be better, but I think 3.73s are good enough for now.

Im not sure what all has been done to the heads. all I know is that they are 243s. I bought the truck with the heads, had a smaller cam, but I had that one in my garage and it worked so I put it in, hasn't given me any trouble other than it feels like it got lazy. I just rebuilt the tranny because I blew it up after I put in the bigger cam. it sounds like a beast, and once it gets going it moves like a beast also. this Friday I plan on going to my local track and ill take a video. I did not put a stall in it though, i have since found out that if i stall it it will make a ridiculous difference, my only concern is that how it will affect it as a dd. how can i spike the compression of my set up.? i, completely new to these LS based engines. But i am in love. i plan on putting a 6.0 in my 82 chevy next!!!!!
