well i have used the search tool and didnt find anything i liked. my flowmaster 40 series "fell" off the truck and was ruined. i need a new muffler. what do yall run with your cammed trucks? i like something loud. drone isnt an issue as it cant be worse than the way she is set up now.
im leaning to a round borla XR-1 3" inlet and outlet with a 15" case.

I run a Magnaflow which sounds good and I have a cutout for when I want to be crazy loud. Now if you want an awesome, cheap, great sounding loud muffler, I'd recommend a Dynomax Bullet. I have an x pipe with 2 of them on my cammed Camaro and that bitch is loud! My girlfriend has one on her 4.8L Silverado, stock motor with full exhaust and it sounds really good too.

Want loud? Check out the Xcelerator VR series mufflers

They're Dynomax knockoffs that are actually cheaper and better made LOL.
I use this model, it's probably not loud enough for you though cause it's the biggest one that I can fit:
(google a-1performance) XS2589

im not sure how it fell off to be honest. it was clamped on and right about 4500 rpm she came flying off the truck and caught the axle and bent to ****. it even had the crimp marks from the clamp. no back fire or anything. im thinking that flowmaster flows like **** and it was to much back pressure. i like the spintech sound clips but should i be running duals or is my 3" exhaust enough for the 383? maybe im choking the **** out of my engine??? i would hate to have to buy a new catted y pipe and redo the exhaust from the long tubes back.
