Default Torque converter "?"'

here is what i have going on, im putting together a single cab short bed 89 1500
power plant is a lq4 and a th350 behind it.i am indecisive about how big of a torque converter i am going to need. the specs are as follows(feel free to comment on the specs as well)
ms3 cam
4.10 gears
28 or 30 inch tire"?"

the main purpose for the truck is track duty but will occasionally be driven 2 miles to and from work...

is everything else stock?

what i would do is get everything the way you want it, then have the truck dynoed, look at where the torque comes in and where it peaks in the rpm range, take half of that then decide on the torque converter

If the main purpose is track duty, then start looking at 3500 and higher converters...

237/242 .603/.609" on 112-114

If you plan on locking it I would go with a 3600, if you dont, then you may run out of gear by the end of the track depending on what you are doing with the lq4.

30" tire and a 3800 to 4000 range converter.
