Cool Time for a new Project........

In the next couple of months i will be purchasing a new 04 GMC extended cab 2wd, 5.3L V8. For sure going to have the RADIX installed with upgraded pulley to 10 psi. What do you guys suggest, i want to get this thing in the low to mid 12's with slicks. So please give me some ideas for getting there

Yea i talked to Brian already, Im about 4-6 hours north of him. So i will spend the weekend down their.
Do you or anyone else know where i can get some PCM tunning done on the west coast? How about westers PCM, Can i just tell them my mods and put together a program for me? I know i have to send them my pcm but if its my only option i may have to go that route.
I need some more suggestions please, keep them comming.

What cam do you recommend for a blower setup, and as far as heads go what do you recommend?

I would suggest talking too West Coast Cylinder Heads--------->

They make a nice Stage 2 for the 5.3 that will help with your compression and that 10 psi of boost!

I personally will be running the LS6 (Z06) cam in my truck in the next few weeks. I am sure someone will chime in that has used a certain cam with a F/I application. Cams are hard for us Cali Smog people!!!

the LS6 cam is pretty awesome for FI from what i've heard, and some guys have done very well with it on nitrous also. you can go with a custom grind also something like a 216/220 .555/.555 115 or SOMETHING of that nature.

Cool you will be my gunni pig Tell me how it works out. Do you have to change valve springs or anything like that? I kinda want a mild lope too, is that possible with passing emmisions in CA? What kind of HP do you expect from this cam?
