I have been outran by hondas from a dead stop till I can get some rpm then when the cam wakes up it's bye bye. My truck likes a 40MPH roll race from 2nd and it's scary.

But all I could swing was a brand new take out converter from a 06 4x4 from trever1T on here when I built the truck as pricey as it was getting so I kinda knew I'd have a handicap

I can't wait to see how this cam and a 3200 circle D stall will run.

I have a similar cam and a Yank 3600 stall in my S10 and it gets out the hole really good.Actually I've benn thinking about going bigger in my 5.3.And yes long tubes will help alot.

I know to get every last horse out of it the long tubes are the way to go. But for me it's just too much work and hassle to mess with going the LT route since everything is already done and in the truck and leak free. Had longtubes been available when I built it you'd be damm straight she'd be packin them

You see, the thing about this cam is, it shines up top. That's where you need the advantage of headers over manifolds. If you really WANT to keep manifolds, you should look for a different cam. IMHO.

it is a nice cam i would get the 110lsa of it has been working bad *** for some of the guys down here
