Default Throttle Response....

I currently have a 4.8L with stock everything besides a 3.5" delta force 6" muffler.

What mods can I do to give it better throttle response? Seems kinda sluggish right now...

What kind of mpg would result from 3.73's out back. I am getting 17-20 mpg in my mishmash of city and hwy driving now with the stock 3.42.
