That’s a tough question. If you were really happy with the stock ls6 and a 3600 stall converter, then our tastes are completely different. If you are keeping your engine completely stock and running a decent stall then that cam may not be as bad as my knee jerk reaction.

I think you should just run it.

If if it were me, I love the cam motion 5.3 stage 2 in bone stock engines. It’s only a 206/210 with .553 lift if you change to the blue springs. .501 lift if you keep the stock springs. its on a 115+5.
This is a way smaller cam than you have but I would run it with near stock stall (tbss-ish)

So many people over cam the 5.3s. I don’t want to push the rpm on a stock engine to make good power on a big cam.
