i personally like em on vettes and 50 merc's. but on a 74 stepside its iffy. might look cool, might look cheesy. did you ever consider lake pipes?

 

not familiar with lake pipes i would like to see what they look like tho

 

heres a pic of what lake pipes look like. they are smaller than regular sidepipes and are just for looks.
