I think you would be better off spending your cash on better flowing heads and valvetrain components.....your not going to see much of a difference in going from a 220 to a 224.....If anything, get some 1.8 rockers if you want more lift, as it is that slight increase in duration isn't going to do much for you at the track. Why such a high stall for DD? How is your mileage?

Just for continued refference, Im wanting to go from

216/220 .525 .532 114lsa to 226/226 .585 .585 112lsa.... it is a pretty big jump if you ask me

and my cam doesnt have the lift to need a head job IMO. And the high stall is fine for mileage when its locked up in 4th.

IMO, i think you will see a difference. The larger lift and decreased LSA will really fit your verter, IMO.... I noticed a pretty good difference going from a 220/220 114 to 222/224 112... It was worth a couple of tenths in the 1/8, but the biggest gain was the power under the curve. Made my truck alot funner to drive at part throttle.

My bad........although I still think you would be happier with better heads first. "The best cam in the world will have a hard time making good HP when put in mediocre heads, however, if you put a poor cam in an engine with a good set of heads, it will still make good power" Better heads and you won't think twice about it when you see the multiplier effect they will have with your other mods (LT's, exhaust, CAI) Who does your tuning?

Haha but you've helped me with alot of decisions/problems with my truck and I wouldn't have a way to get the tunes from justin without you. Now enough of this homo talk haha.

I need to make more money so i can afford the new cam if i decide to do it
