Just wondering if there was any way to tell if the dealership reflashed your ECU while you were getting routine service work, warranty repairs or just there getting some wheels and tires mounted and balanced? I have the Diablo Predator and I guess I could unload and reload my settings, but I was wondering if there was any "easy" way to tell if they took the liberty of REFLASHING my truck while I was in for service? Other than the loss of power from the larger/wider wheels and tires I can't relly tell if Ive lost my extra "go" or not...
ANY HELP??

trust me, a technician has a limited amount of time anyway. Specially at a domestic shop its all about how fast you can get it in and out. And to do anything a technician would have to get paid to reflash or its a waste of time to them. So you would see it on your final bill. So don't worry about it, unless you are complaining about it they arn't gonna do anything with it.

Yeah, but this is small town, bill warranty for all you got, more tech-time rainy day-ville!! I understand what you're saying and It's unlikely that it would have been reflashed. But, what I'm actually looking for an answer to is: IS there any way to tell if it has been reflashed..easily? Other than running it up and checking the speed limiter..the only easy way I know of, but if you get caught..well. that's another issue! ANyway, I was just wanting to know of other's experiences and if there were any tell-tale signs for future reference more than anything else! Thanks for your input though!

The dealership can use Tech 2 to scan it. The only way they will reflash your computer is if you dont have the latest GM updates... They wont scan your truck unless the problem is computer related..
