I just put a cam in and have my idle raised so it will stay running. I havent had a chance to order my hpts and will be running the stock tune for a while. Now when I'm going down the hwy. my vertter isnt locking. I'm running 70mph at 2500rpms and I'm used to 2000. Its killing my wallet with all this gas sucking. I figure becasue of my tps not working properly becuase of the idle. My question is, If I turn the set screw back down to were it was at first and drill the hole in my tb will this fix my lock up problem? Any one else had this problem? Thanx.

Misfires. If you have a scanner, clear the codes (even if it doesn't show any-go ahead and hit the clear button) I am willing to bet it will lock then. Your misfire tables need adjusting to prevent this from continuing.

Cleared the codes out when we got there, and locked on the way home. This moring when I went back to the shop it didnt lock and also tonight it didnt lock.

Ok Thanx guys. I guess every time I go to town I will stop by the shop and clear the codes out before I head back home lol. This sux. But it sounds good though. When I get my exhaust work done and get a little air into the motor with some tunning will this cam lope like a beast or will it stay about the same?
