Default Taylor Thundervolt 50 wires ...

Has anyone had these? I just got a set and holy **** ... they are HUGE!. I bet they are about the size of a Sharpie marker. They claim them to be 10.4mm thick. I believe it.

I think I have those Taylor wires on my Z, I like them and nice quality. Mine are red. Are there two different sizes of them?

Yea .. I think you got the normal ones ... did you notice how thick the ones in the pic are? I opened the box and thought wtf ... they sent me stereo power cable for plug wires.

Yeah, i got my Tv 50's last month. When i opened the box, i was like "holy sh@t! these things are huge." So far so good with them. Made a little difference in idle quallity, look really cool though.

I got them....

I had a problem with the first set I had - I lost power and the motor didn't want to rev out as easily. I removed them, and two or three wires broke. The clips came off the spark plug end.

I send them back - got my replacement set - and they've been great. Better lowend throttle responce, and carburetion feels (and sounds) smoother.

(I'm a BIG advocate for good plug wires in these motors.)
