Thumbs up T56 Swap A Great Success Again

Well, you all know that the truck has been on the road for about two months, now that I finished up the T56 swap! I finally got to go to the track today to test it out. I was hoping for 14.4s all day to match my 4L60e all time best. Since the last time at the track that I ran the 14.42 I have done the T56 swap, Caltracs and removed my shortie headers and put my stock exhaust manifolds back on. So I was thinking, 14.4s would be great to see again. First run 14.2s and the best for the day... Well you just going to have to wait...

...Oh well, I can't even wait....

...14.09 @ 96.69mph!!!...

So, I am very happy!

I also got it on the dyno and pulled 285HP and 307FTLBs comp[ared to the autos 276HP with 307 FTLBs. Not bad of a gain with me taking the shorties off!

Today =

Will post some video and time sheets later!

Awesome, I miss my manual. Maybe when my '60 dies I'll do the same thing.
