T-stat Advice...
#1
ok so I wanna do a 160* T-stat in the truck. a 180* is the same price so I figure I'd just do a 160... anything I should be worried about or take in to consideration with the 160? or any real reason I should do the 180 instead? Thanks guys

if you ever do decide on a different Tstat.... forget paying the high price...
all you need is a BB...... haha yea a BB... i did that on mine and i usually run from 160 on a cool day to 175-180 on a hot day.....
You can PM me if you would like..

only reason I did my t-stat swap was for the a/c differences in the hot *** houston weather during the summer. I feel like it helps since stock my truck would operate at 200-205'ish. Now it doesn't go above 170. I noticed a little difference in my IAT's, but wrapping the intake fixed that problem. Pretty much year round here you're going to have really high IAT's and you're going to pull some timing lol. It's texas, face it
