I dont think the motor is bad and needs the additive... its just starting to get expensive

People have told me once i use this stuff i can't stop using it though... is this true?

Changing the oil every 3k miles is a joke. I changed mine about every 6-8k and everything was perfect on the 4.8 driving 20k per year. On the 6.0 I change it once or twice a year, only drive about 7k a year anyways. I would use Amsoil but I have no clue where to buy it.

Luke,I would skip the additive and use Mobil1 or amsoil IMO
The saying once you start using an additive or go to syntheics that you can not go back is a myth, and most people tend to believe it.
