Default Super Victor pics

Thought I would share as there are not too many of these intakes around yet. This is not a Vic JR, but rather it's mean big brother the Super Victor. It's topped with a NX Shark SX2 Nozzle plate system. On top of that there is a dominator to 4150 adapter. Then there will be a dominator throttle body that is good for 2k cfm.

I have no idea of how this set up is going to work. Could be a waste of time, but we'll see..

It needs a little touch up port work that I will do. Now I'm wondering if I want to top it with a velocity stack or a hilborn scoop that sticks out of the hood on the 63 pickup..

Thanks Guys..

Wilde, not sure I follow.. Are you asking if there is enough belt to spin the pump? If so, works great for me..

I agree with Wilde, that wrap around the water pump and crank pulley might cause you issues later.

Mind advising what issues?

I have aprox 1000-1500 miles on the motor with the belt set up that way with no ill effects so far. The belt is extreamly tight getting on, meaning there is quite a bit of tension on it. But if you have had problems in the past with such a routing, I'm all ears..

It just doesn't look like a lot of contact between the belt and the pullys. I'm sure you know that having a belt too tight will cause more problems with bearing failure;

looking at the crank and water pump I would estimate your belt contact area to be approx 20%, under high RPM load this will not be enough to keep the water pump and crank from spinning faster than your belt. (belt slip) If you have it as tight as I think you do, eventually you will wear the front main bearings, Alt bearing, and water pump bearings.

I would suggest two idlers and bringing the belt wrap around the crank and water pump.
