CARB approval? Well they must have BANK, because thats $100000+ for diags and paperwork to get approved.

STS must of sold a serious amount of kits. Which I doubt.

Either way, they undertaking, if they are really trying to get carb approval, a definate money maker. Once you get carb approval, the possibilities are endless.

Ill give you an idea of why I know this.

I import Nissan Skylines. I am only 1 of 2 companies in the whole USA that can get them DOT NHTSC approved. The money involved from getting engineers and CAD programs made and finally submitted to customs faction of the NHTSC was over $70K+. Yes we sell the average Skyline at over $50K+ but we sell only 2-4 cars average a month.

You must convert these cars to US Spec. Bumpers, exhaust, tuning, etc Took over 4 months to get approved. CARB legal was not necessary at that point, because once you get them US Spec approved, it doesnt require it.

Received this info about the 8.1 kit - Tom, no 8.1L yet. I am sure you could use the 6.0L kit to start with and make the modifications. Sorry we don’t have that out yet in the production version.

Well listen, if anyone wants a turbo kit setup for an 8.1L I may be able to get something done. But I need the truck for 3-4 weeks maybe less.

Turbo and parts is not the problem, the tubing takes a while and must be coated for our system. AND I am in the NYC area.

lol let me know.

This might be a dumb question,but...Can you still run headers with this kit?It looks like the way the turbo is mounted you still can?.?.

you should be able to run headers....but a cam or rocker arms might be a better suited mod.
