Not without losing the AWD. But give Chuck Johnson at FLP call -- he fixed my little red wagon!

Cool, good call, thanks for the info. I'll keep his number in my wallet for WHEN I smoke the trans!

By the way, your FMIC looks great! I would imagine that would set you back about $1,000? Just trying to decide when I want to get that done...

The 4L65E is much, much stronger than the "old" 60E. Should be good for some decent boost and longer life.
Might want to consider a servo upgrade kit at a minumim tho.

Phweew! That's good to hear!

As far as the Servo kit, which one should I go with? Anyone have a part #? And what will the Servo do without a shift kit or should it be used only with a shift kit? Sorry, Servo illiterate here...

Don't know the part #, but a vette servo will do the trick.

I hope to be able to tell you guys that Chuck J has the 65E nailed for high hp trucks. He's been working really hard first with Parish and now with my truck. I should have some initial results soon, but can say Chuck has got some pretty cool ideas and new additions to the 65E (made from billet )

Oh, my FMIC is an OBX -- $300 on eBay

I found this today when looking at parts for my 4l60E.

4L60E to 4L80E output shaft adapter kit, to mount a 4L60E transfer case to a 4L80E.
