Ok, the truck is back!!!!!!

New valve springs and hardened pushrods.
New tune for Low Boost (5psi).
More timing for Low Boost.
New tune for High Boost (now 9-10psi instead of 7psi).
More timing for High Boost (up 3 or 4 more degrees).
5800-5900 shift point instead of 5500 on stock valve springs.

Xtreme recalibrated the A/F meter and was able to tune it much better. Plus adding more timing and more rpm, oh yeah, and more BOOST has really brought this pig to life!

I will of course have new Dyno #'s here soon. And 1/4 mile track times hopefully this Friday.

Yep, should be pretty squared away now. They said the A/F on the High Boost setting will still read pretty fat, in the 10.8 area due to the Methanol. If it was set leaner, it would be too lean on the low end. I guess being a bit fat isn't necessarily a bad thing, keeps it a bit safe!

They said the shop STS Truck is running 13.7's and mine feels faster. But the shop truck has a Stall so I'm sure it would take me out of the hole. Hopefully we'll find out Friday what I can run with the stock 1600 stall.

I talked to a couple people about that and got an in-depth reason why I didn't need to waste my money on it with the stock Trans. Don't ask me to repeat it but it made total sense. I'm waiting until it fries then I'm going:
built, stall, servos, shift kit. It's slipping so bad right now on the shift that it's only a matter of time...

That was the way I looked at it, but I have the much weaker 4L60. The '65 is quite a bit stronger and thats what I'll be going with. Ive been pretty surprised as to how long my tranny has lasted, but I drive like a grandma for the most part.
Ive heard several say that the accumulator piston goes first usually and is a cheap quick fix. If it were me I would get it looked at and if stuff isnt wrecked yet I would do the metal accumulator piston, shift kit and servo's. That is unless you are planning on 550+ at the rear wheels. Ive talked to Chuck at FLP and he is confident that his 4L65 will handle the amount of power I plan on putting down (around 550), but Im also using a centrifugal charger that doesnt make power until higher in the power band.

If it's a BUILT 4L65, but not a stock one. Day one after installing the turbo my 4L65 is slipping pretty bad through the shift. I'm going to go with a 4L65 again but it will be built with all hardened parts.
