Default Stock LQ4 Pushrod length?

I got a 2003 1500HD with the 6.0L LQ4 w/ the stock 317 heads. I plan on purchasing the Stage 3 TSP 216/220 112LSA low lift cam package. I figure while I am in there why not replace the pushrods while I'm at it.
Been searching and came up on two lengths of pushrods the common 7.400 and a 7.385.
Simple question which is it? What are you LQ4 guys running with your stock 317 heads?

Both.

7.400, if measured as if the entire end, i.e. the full "theoretical" half-sphere, is present, as if without the oil holes (typical aftermarket method); 7.385 if the shortening due to the oil holes is accounted for (typical "stock" method such as Chilton's or whatever, as well as what you get with a mic).

With an aftermarket cam you'll need to measure. Period. Seems like more often than not they need to be shorter than stock, but there's no guarantees of anything. Every motor combo is different.

7.4 is usually the most common size of stock pushrod length in OE applications.

You can call the tech support of who ever you choose to purchase your cam from and they will be able to tell you as well what size pushrod you will need. They will say measuring is always best but they will be able to give you a solid answer on proper sizing. But I would say with that cam and untouched heads 7.4’s will be fine
