Ive got a set of ls6 heads and a 224/224 cam that Im putting into my lq4 and was wondering if I will just need a set of 7.40 pushrods. I have a ls6 cam in the truck right now with the stock heads and have a set of 7.425's, will those be too long?

i used 7.4, you'll be fine

Generally 7.4 length pushrods seem to do the trick, but for $11 to $17, you can know for sure

 

I used Comp HI-Tech 7.40 on mine and its quiet with the caddy lifters!

 

I think that you will be fine with a set of 7.4 pushrods.
