Default Removing EVAP system

Hey guys, I have a 2006 Silverado. Here recently I swapped my old 4.8L out with a 5.3L that came out of a 2001 Tahoe. Ever since I swapped them out I have bought 3 purge valves and they all have seemed to fail on me every time. What do I need to do to remove the EVAP system from starting at the gas tank leading up to my intake.

Thank you.

Yank all the parts, cap the intake, vent the gas tank and tune all the codes out. Assuming you already had to get a custom tune to run the 5.3 properly in the truck, turning off the codes would be simple.

That's kinda all there is to it.

Perhaps you are misdiagnosed the EVAP issue? If happens often

Never had a purge valve fail on any gm car ive had in 20 years. don't know why you would want to delete evap. make your car smell and increase emissions by a hell of a lot. will fail inspection or emissions test if you have it. cars from the 70s will stink up your garage. smell like raw gas.
