I had no idea that people where braking stock flexplats, looks like another thing i need to add to the list of things to do while installing my new built trans and converter.

 

i would man, TR has them 250ish after taxes, and i emailed that FTIconverters or whatever and that Billet flex plate is 305shipped, not 280 free shipping. i even told him im on PT.net and i was recommended to come to him for a badass flywheel.

 

you can get summit or jegs to price match!! tell them where you saw the lower price, and they will match it, and beat it by a little. thats how I got my arp bolts cheap.

 

Because its the best of the best and only a small bit more than a good steel one.

i got the truck up on jack stands again, so i'll be getting to it around friday/saturday depending on what i have to do. i will have pics up asap.

has anyone broken the TCI/SFI flex plate? ive never heard of it. a guy at work is running a TCI in his 10.2 @ 135ish all day and it's been in his car for 7yrs.

the TCI is 225ish plus 8.5% tax so thats 245ish or buy a Billet flex plate for 305ish. i guess you can't go wrong with it considering it's less than 100 to go to the best.
do i have to get longer bolts for the flex plate to crank and then longer converter bolts?

 

Why can I expect more pissy little responses like that from him?
