Default Stock clutch fan/shroud with homemade CAI?

Ok so I go to Home Depot and buy some crap to make a CAI and I get excited and get home ready to get busy. Well the 4" 90 degree coupling I bought is too big that it hits the fan shroud. Is there a better coupling I need to buy or are all the Homemade CAI I see on here are for trucks with E-Fans?

Default Homemade CAI

I had a homemade set up for a while with my stock fan and shroud. I went to a lawn and sprinkler dealer and found a 4" in and 2 3/4 out 90 boot that was rubber and cleared the shroud by inches... take ur truck up there and play in the parking lot surely it is not the weirdest thing home depot customers have ever seen
