my buddy is taking his cam out of his fbody to put anotherone in so he said hed sell me the one hes taking out pretty cheap.i already have a 2600converter and i will be installing some new lifters and some 7.450 fms pushrods and some 918 springs along with the cam.and longtubes shorty their after. anyways here are the specs, what do yall think

2000-6600 rpm range
its a futral motorsports f4 cam. for a fbody.

Your gunna need a bigger stall for that cam, at least a 3200, u may be able to slide with a 3000, but preferably a 3200, also your gunna need a good tune to get it running well

 

I'm running a cam close to that 226 226 585 585 112 with a 2500 stall and pulling 1.7 60' times with the help of 4.10 gears. tuneing is going to be a must. The extra weight of your Z71 might need more stall.

Im Sorry Guys I Wrote The Wrong Lsa Down, This Cam That He Has Has A 114 Lsa, But Futral Does Have A F4 Cam With The Same Specs With A 112lsa, I Messed Up. Anyways So With The Same Specs As Above But With The 114lsa Wouls This Cam Be Ok With My 3.73's And 26oo Converter?

 

It will work, just saying personally I think you would be happier with a higher stall. I ran a decent cam with the factory converter in my 5.3. It just lost some of its ***** in the 60'. But my et still got better.

 

i would say get a bigger converter 3000 and above...and you should be fine....i have a 228/228 588 588 112LSA and a Yank 3500 stall, works and sounds beautifully
