Just got mine in today. They look great. Hopefully I'll get them on in a couple weeks when I drop in the LS1 I'm building.

So I did this tonight...

Posting from my phone so I'm not sure how to embed the video, but it's the first startup with this exhaust, finally.

I switched to an LS2 90mm DBW TB and I have some sort of fault that doesn't allow me to control the throttle otherwise there would be more to the video.

There is more to come, pulling codes tonight to see what the problem is.

Would this dual 3" exhaust be to much for a stock 5.3 with a cai, longtubes and a black bear tune or would I be better off with just the y pipe and a dumped magnaflow. I'm not looking to make much more power with the duals I just don't want to lose any power with duals and also will this system fit a 2003 tahoe?

Off subject but no, the 2002 dbw truck only needs a swap harness. I checked the polarity of the 2 wire side of the swap harness and the polarity was flipped. Switched the wires and it started working normal.

I'm wondering the same thing, I have a stock 5.3 only intake tube and canned tune and I just picked up some 1 7/8 headers for 200$ but I don't want to put a true dual 3 inch and lose all my torque. Would we be better with a ture dual 2.5 or 3?

More than likely already have with your oversized primary's.
