little off topic but im looking into getting a local shop to use two stock steel wheels to make one wider one...an old super chevy or CHP had a red RCSB with a side mount magnacharger it was built by LPE anyone remember that truck? anyway they did it on that truck...anyone know how safe this is? and how well it would work ?i figure its steel so it should be able to be welded and trued to a nice looking functional rim thats wide enough for a real slick or DR....
