Like John said I would not go overkill as you are still trying to push a ECSB 4 x 4, 224/224 on a 112 would be a good cam. I would not go over a 228 with a 3200 stall in your truck, personally I think the 224 would be a better choice as everyone wants to overcam a heavy truck. Your exhaust setup is good so not much need to go with a cam that is exhaust bias. And your stock injectors will be maxed, I promise..... Stock injectors are damn near maxed on a stock 6.0

A set of 44lb marines would hold you over untill you went with Boost.

Daily driving a cam and admiring its idle/high rpm power are 2 totally separate things. I would not go any bigger than mine is now on a daily. Don't get me wrong it has plenty of manners, but driving it EVERY DAY is really unforgiving for all the little quirks. I have a buddy with a trucker (216/224 with .551 lift on both sides on a 115+4 LSA) in his SSS. My cam makes more power, but not much more, and his has much better manners.

Take it from someone who has done EXACTLY what you say you are building now. First it was just mild cam, then it was mild cam that will possibly work with boost, now I'm boosted and want 11's. If I were doing it all over again I would want slightly more split, 6* or so and wouldn't go any bigger than mine in the exhaust side. In other words I would give up a hair of intake duration for slightly more manners and a little better suited to boost. Something along the lines of a 220/226 on a 114-115+4 with about .600 lift on both sides.
In my opinion the 6.0 does well with more split than the smaller engines because the intake valves are larger on the 317 and 243 heads.

Time and time again I see the smaller cams put up impressive times... I wouldn't even look at the 228r to be honest.

I am running a little 217/229 and when I was NA for a year or so between blowers it ran great.

I vote 220/224, but I would prefer more split if I was doing it again.

Look at Pat, 12* split and I have no doubt that it ran strong.
