Why do you think its the ignition switch?
Did you not try switcing PCMs? It sounds to me that its a PCM communication error...

MAYBE, But you were not having these problems before the swap right? Iirc all these problems came up after the swap so the ignition being the problem is highly unlikely.

No :/ Because remember i didn't use the pcm for the V6 I got everything complete. The guy at some transmission place told me to give that a try. Could a ground be doing this? If so does anyone have pictures or know where all the ground straps are? Cause the transmission worked twice for like 5min then went to **** :/ and started off in limp mode again. Could it be a bad PCM? Should i just invest in a Tune from the sponsors and get a new one? I'm getting super like ahhh

Dude all you have to do is reflash your v6 pcm with a stock v8 tune and your ready to go. You had no need to use a different PCM unit.. More than likely that avalanch PCM has some different calibrations in it that your truck isnt agreeing with.

Yes, if you have a tuning software.. 4x4 tune would throw yours off... No they all look the same, but the tune calibration stored in them is very different
