its a 5.3 with 16,000 miles on the clock. Not a bad motor to begin modding eh

so far, it runs pretty damn strong after the cam swap. Definately needs to be retuned though. It is also about twice as loud as it used to be.


Just for a comparison of loudness. This new setup coming through the cutout is as loud or louder then when I ran open headers for an hour.

 

U only ran open headers for an hour? Sissy. I drove around for prolly a week w/ my 89 on open headers. That was due to tryin to find someone to do up a Y-pipe for my setup. Loud as heck when I applied lots of pedal, but @ minimal pedal, it wasn't too bad. Had to watch for cops.
