Default What to expect

Got a 2000 sierra with the 5.3 lm7 the truck is mainly stock and has been well kept and I just got and have bought some items to boost the hp a lil and have some fun just looking for a lil help as to what to expect from y'all that have done it and what I may be missing...

Comp 212/218 low lift
Comp pushrods
Ls6 blue valve springs
K&N cold air system
Pacesetter longtubes
Flow 40 series
Vette servo
Blackbear mail tune

Thinking about putting a 100 shot wet system on it also just don't know yet...

lil input knowledge etc thanks guys

Had a buddy that ran a setup really close to that.

5.3/4l60e
212/218 dont remember the lift
Longtubes
4.11s w/ locker
125 shot
dont remember who tuned it

Im pretty dang sure it ran a 12.4 on radials. Which i consider pretty impressive with a stock converter, and a very streeet friendly setup. Definitely spray that pig!

Te K+N needs to be returned and simply buy airaid's MIT. It is much cheaper and makes more power. Blackbear has dyno numbers to validate it.

Other then that you have a good plan! The one thing you are missing is a converter and cooler. A converter should be first on your list in my opinon. It helps a stock engine a lot and makes massive gains with a converter. .3-.5 stock and .5+ easily with a cam.

The 100 shot is a for sure in my opinion. A 100 shot with a bit of inteligents can be ran for ever without any issue. Unless boosting I don't know why anyone who is drag racing a budget build wouldn't run at least a 100 shot.
